9 months today!

 

                               

















 People say " I can't believe they are already nine months." Well we can! It is fun, but tough! Rex now has 4 teeth. Two on the bottom and two on the top. His incisors came in so he looks like a little vampire baby (Edward's?? haha). He said mama on Saturday, not towards me, but he said it! Ren has 3 teeth so far. Two on the bottom and 1 poking through on the top. He is still into everything, Curious George, as Val calls him. We have a Gastrologist appointment tomorrow and hope we get some good news! Notice they aren't wearing bibs! The morning spit up is getting better!!

Happy 34th Birthday David! Wooh, getting old!

 

Dinner and drinks with friends and family at Red Lobster. So nice to get out and do something fun!! Thanks Mimi and Namaw for babysitting.

They love their story time

When ever I say, "Do you want to read a book?" they both come crawling to me. It is so cute. They love to listen to the books with the animal sounds in them.

Venting

My boys are approaching 9 months. I was told that their reflux would improve with each milestone. For example when they sit up it will get better or when they start to crawl it will also get a little better. Well, let me just say that is incorrect. At 5 months it got a little worse. It is definitely better than when they were infants, but it is still bad. I still do 2 loads of their laundry every night. This includes a couple out fit changes, 2 crib sheets, numerous cloth diapers I use to wipe up spit up, and the big blanket I have to lay on the floor every day. Ahhhh! I am so ready for this to be over with. I feel bad for them. They take medicine every four hours to control the burn. I know I am lucky that they came right home and did not spend any time in the NICU, but I still have to vent. It sucks!

Standing and Talking

Rex is starting to say some nonsense and Ren is just standing and cruising along the couch. I wonder if I will have a walker and a talker? It is so funny how different these boys are.

 Pajamas that is! We can no longer put the snap pajamas on these boys. They are on the move and will not sit still to snap all those snaps! Don't they look older in these

Kid Trade!

We went for Snow cones! I haven't had one all summer, so I was excited to go. The line was ridiculous, but they were so good!

Ren's first haircut!

Most babies wait until they are 1 or 2 to get a haircut. Not Ren, he is 8 months and had some crazy hair. So I took him in to get it cleaned up. He did very well at Pigtails and Crewcuts. I paid way too much, but it was fun.  Before is on the left and after on the right. It is nice and tidy now!

Play date with Cassidy

 

 

My friend Sarah brought Cassidy over for a play date. They didn't really play together, just played with all the toys. Rex tried biting her about 3 times, and Ren climbed all over the place. They are only about 6 months apart in age, but right now it makes a difference! They can't do what she can do. We just laughed at them the whole time.
