What's been going on???

Another haircut for Ren (dandelion head-val)! His hair grows so fast. Debating on buying clippers and doing it myself, but not sure he will let me.

A play date with their 3rd cousins and Cassidy. Whew, there was a lot of kids, but it turned out great! Rex isn't in the picture because he fussed the whole time and I am sure I was holding him.

10 months today! Starting to take toys away from each other!

Things I dislike (wanted to say hate, but sounds bad)

1. TEETHING! There is nothing you can do to help the pain. Cold things, frozen rag, teething toys, nothing works. I put ice or frozen peaches in their food nets and that is the only thing that seems to stop the fussing for a short while. There are people with babies that teething doesn't bother. I can't imagine.  It bothers both of my babies a lot! What will we do when the big teeth come through???

2. COLDS! My boys had a cold about 3 weeks ago. Then I put up the saline spray and suctions. Well 5 days later guess what, a new cold!! They both have it all over again. There is snot every where. Their hair, their face, and all over me. There is nothing you can do for this either. Humidifier and suction. I feel so bad for them. They can't breathe and they can't blow their nose. They now despise the suction!

Playing with other babies is so fun!

Payton Carol Maxwell

 We went to visit Becky and the babies today! My boys played with her twins and Payton slept! She is a very pretty baby. We had a fun time getting out of the house.

Nine month stats:

Rex: weight 18.5lbs (14%), height 26in (1%) that's not a typo! head (38%). Sum him up, short, chubby, medium head!

Rendin: weight 18.12 lbs (19%), height 26.5 (3%), head (18%) Sum him up, same. short, chubby, small head!

 We will be able to tell more about their height at the age of 2 when preemies catch up on growth. They won't be tall, but hopefully will be closer to 6 feet than 5 feet!! I don't understand the percentiles. Rex looks chubby, but is still in the lower percentile. Maybe because he is short his rolls just bunch up! They got a great check up (except the shots, didn't know the flu shot was a 2 part).
